ADVOCACY MEDIATION COUNSEL

About Ben

Ben Pogue, Esq.

Ben has tried dozens of cases to verdict, with millions of dollars at stake for his clients. Ben has also mediated hundreds of cases. His experience has demonstrated that trial is not always the best way to resolve a case—and finding a path to collaboration is often the best strategy. Ben focuses on mediation, where attorneys and individuals utilize Ben as a neutral party, to facilitate settlements fairly and efficiently before trial. He also represents clients who have been seriously injured, abused, or left with the horrifying results of medical malpractice.

Ben has worked with special interest groups, individuals, and businesses as a consultant on strategy. He also teaches, hosts presentations, and facilitates workshops on the subject. If you have a specific strategic need, email ben@benpoguelaw.com with the subject line “Strategy”. Each request is confidential, subject to a conflict check, and handled on a case by case basis by Ben.

These honors and experiences are just a small part of a varied and unique path as a lawyer.

Ben spent nearly a decade as a broadcast meteorologist, anchor, and reporter for News 2 and News 14 Carolina. As a lawyer, he has also served as a meteorological expert in civil litigation. He continues to enjoy his role as a volunteer meteorological adviser at the Charleston School of Law.
